You already know the Ravens DST is notorious for being one of the best in Fantasy. Now you can expect this unit to get off to a really good start with home matchups in Weeks 1 and 3 against the Texans and Colts. The rest of the schedule will be a challenge, including a matchup at Cincinnati in Week 2, but this is a defense that finished seventh in points per game last year and has a refreshed pass rush to go with a pretty veteran group in the secondary. It is worth one of your last two picks.
The Eagles DST should once again be considered a No. 1 Fantasy option in all leagues, and the unit is worth drafting with a late-round pick. In 2022, the Eagles DST was among the best Fantasy units, and Philadelphia led the NFL with 70 sacks. The Eagles also added 17 interceptions, 10 fumble recoveries and two DST scores. Philadelphia was also in the top 10 in fewest points allowed with 324. And the Eagles also added first-rounders Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith to their loaded defense, which should make the Eagles DST once again a standout Fantasy option.
The 49ers defense was a top-five unit last year, leading the NFL in both interceptions and points allowed. In the offseason the Niners added Javon Hargrave and Isaiah Oliver in free agency and used draft picks in Rounds 3 and 5 to bolster to secondary depth after losing Jimmie Ward to the Texans. We like the 49ers as one of the top three defenses this year, worth a pick in one of the final three rounds of your Fantasy draft. If Drake Jackson takes a step forward in Year 2 and one of the 49ers' young corners hits, they could have the best defense in football.
