This is expected to be Boswell's ninth season as the Steelers kicker. After finishing sixth among all kickers on a per-game basis in 2021, Boswell predictably finished league-average in the same category in 2022 because of the team's massive offensive overhaul. Odds are the offense still won't be explosive enough to give Boswell more than 30 field goal attempts and a bunch of extra points, so he's pretty easy to avoid drafting. At least two other kickers in his own division are better options.
Sanders wasn't quite as good as his breakout season in 2020 when he averaged 10.0 Fantasy points per game, but he did have a quality campaign in 2022 with 26 made field goals and a career-high 41 made extra points. The Dolphins offense was explosive under coach Mike McDaniel, and Miami should score plenty of points again in 2023. Sanders should have plenty of scoring chances, and Sanders is worth drafting with a final-round selection.
Zuerlein is staying with the Jets this season, and he will look to build on a productive campaign from 2022. He's worth drafting with a final-round selection in all leagues. Last year, Zuerlein made 30 of 37 field goals, including 6 of 11 from 50-plus yards, and 28 of 29 PATs. This is the third time in his career that Zuerlein has made at least 30 field goals, and he should see his PATs rise this season with the Jets adding Aaron Rodgers at quarterback. Zuerlein should be considered a borderline starting Fantasy kicker in all leagues.
