J.J. McCarthy It is unclear if this is a good thing or not for the Vikings' pass-catchers, most notably Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. McCarthy played only about one quarter of good football through two games, although this is essentially his rookie season after he missed all of last year. He won't catch mmuch of a break from the opponent, as the Lions rank inside the top five in sacks (23) despite having only played seven games.
