Fantasy Villains for Week 8

November 07, 2026 (Updated Every Monday)

Jackson, Lamar

Even worse, Ravens Head Coach Jesse Minter said Jackson could be lost for the entire season. With Tyler Huntley dealing with turf toe, Baltimore is facing a season of absolute uncertainty moving forward. As for Jackson, this seems like a fluke injury but will still raise serious questions about his durability and future moving forward. While there's never a doubt about his ability, he played in 13 games last year and just parts of four this season, leaving lingering doubts about where his future really lies. We'll see what happens in the coming weeks but Jackson's dynasty value is going to take a sizable hit.

MAYFIELD, BAKER

And he played the whole game. Someone apparently played "Jumanji" before the contest and an epic downpour made the passing game downright impossible. The Bucs simply decided to abandon any attempt to move the ball through the air and ended up being the first team since 1974 to win a game without completing a pass. This is clearly the one-off of all one-offs but still disappointing for anyone who started any Tampa Bay pass catcher. What a crazy day.

BRISSETT, JACOBY

Brissett was benched in favor of Gardner Minshew, who promptly led the Cardinals to a comeback victory. Brissett has not been nearly as good as he was last season and the fact Minshew sparked the team is going to lead to heavy speculation his grip on the starting job has simply slipped through his fingers. Brissett's dyansty value has essentially evaporated and he may not start again. Stay tuned.

Penix Jr., Michael

You could watch the NFL for 50 more seasons and never see a game like this again. The field conditions and weather were so bad that the Bucs won the game without completing a single pass. When Atlanta attempted to throw the ball, the results were disastrous. Penix had no chance in the driving rain and wind and while this game was terrible from a fantasy perspective, it likely just needs to be thrown out the window. Penix will remain a QB2 despite the terrible stats.

Herbert, Justin

Through five games, Herbert now has just five touchdown passes and ten interceptions. It's a shocking start to the season but the offense is just putrid under new coordinator Mike McDaniel. Herbert is running for his life each game and his pass catchers and running game are doing him no favors. With a season now clearly wasted away, Herbert's ADP and ranking will slip with each week that passes.

Jones, Daniel

After a 42-7 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday during which Jones was benched in favor of Anthony Richardson in the fourth quarter, Steichen suggested that he would evaluate every position, including quarterback. While some changes could still be afoot for the 2-6 Colts, Steichen will apparently stand pat at center with Jones, at least for one more week. After a promising first season in Indianapolis was cut short by a torn Achilles, Jones has been a major disappointment since reaching a two-year, $88 million extension with the Colts in March. Through eight games, Jones ranks 29th among 30 qualified quarterbacks in QBR (39.6) and is tied with the Chargers' Justin Herbert for the NFL lead with 12 turnovers (nine interceptions, three lost fumbles).

Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff

RODGERS, AARON

Jaylen Warren spearheaded the Steelers' attack with 143 rushing yards and a touchdown, and backfield mate Rico Dowdle added 56 yards and a score of his own. When combined with a highly effective effort by Pittsburgh's defense, there wasn't much production required of Rodgers and the air attack after much busier games leading into Sunday. Rodgers finished with season-low figures in completions, pass attempts, completion percentage and passing yards while failing to throw a touchdown pass for the first time since Week 2, but he's highly likely to revert to his prior pass-heavy ways in a Week 10 road showdown against the Bengals on Sunday night, Nov. 15, following a Week 8 bye.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
13.42	4.88	-175

STAFFORD, MATTHEW

Stafford didn't have to take on too much with his team's defense largely keeping a still-reeling Chargers offense at bay. The veteran signal-caller finished with his second-lowest passing yardage total of the season, while his pass-attempt tally tied the season-low figure he'd generated back in Week 1 in Melbourne, Australia, against the Rams. However, Stafford extended his streak of games with at least one TD pass to four when he connected with Puka Nacua from 18 yards out with 3:41 remaining in the third quarter. Stafford will look to continue successfully weathering the absence of Davante Adams (IR, hamstring) during a Week 9 road matchup against the Commanders next Sunday.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
14.84	8.28	-79.23

Young, Bryce

Young has been wearing a brace on the left knee, but the quarterback refused to blame the injury for his poor performance of late. However, coach Dave Canales said after Thursday night's 27-19 loss to the Packers that he notices Young doesn't have the escapability in the pocket behind Carolina's makeshift offensive line. Young was pressured on nearly half of his dropbacks against Green Bay and was unable to make anything happen down the field in the passing game. He'll have 10 days to rest his knee before a Week 9 date with the Broncos.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
15.88	10.36	-53.28

Daniels, Jayden

Daniels found Stefon Diggs for an eight-yard touchdown in the second quarter and led four drives that ended in successful field goals before Rachaad White sealed the deal with a one-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter. Diggs has been on the receiving end of four of Daniels' six touchdown passes this season. Daniels threw for 300 yards in a Week 6 loss to the 49ers prior to Washington's Week 7 bye, but he hasn't exceeded 233 passing yards in any of his 11 other regular-season outings since the start of the 2025 campaign. Sunday night's win over Philadelphia marked Daniels' first win since Week 5 of the 2025 season, when Washington defeated the Chargers. The Commanders will take a 2-4-1 record into a Week 9 home game against the Rams.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff

Mason, Jordan

Playing in his second game since returning from an IR stint due to a thumb injury, Mason paced the Vikings' ground attack in carries but finished two yards behind Aaron Jones, who logged five totes. Mason also wasn't targeted for the second time in three games, and Minnesota's running game figures to continue in a fantasy-averse timeshare between the two. Mason will look to make inroads against what has been an improved Bills run defense in a Week 9 home showdown on Monday night, Nov. 9.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
14.02	2	-601

Robinson, Bijan

It was a bizarre afternoon overall in very rainy conditions in Tampa Bay, and Robinson managed to salvage his day with a solid rushing yardage total. Robinson's tally on the ground was actually his best since Week 5, although his streak of games without a rushing touchdown extended to four. Robinson is still averaging 5.2 yards per carry on the season and now is up to 983 yards from scrimmage and five total touchdowns heading into next Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Bengals in Madrid.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
18.3	7.6	-140.79

Williams, Javonte

After failing to crack 20 rushes in any of the Cowboys' first six games of the season, Williams now has two such outings over the last two weeks. However, he averaged a season low in a single contest with 2.3 YPC on Sunday, and his TD streak also was snapped at five outings. Williams has a stranglehold on Dallas' backfield with 134 carries to date, while the rest of the team's RBs have combined for 37 through eight weeks. Williams will seek better results next Sunday versus the wayward Colts on the road.

Love, Jeremiyah

Once the Packers officially designate Parsons for return from the PUP list, the team will have 21 days to evaluate him in practice before reinstating him to the 53-man roster. Parsons, who is working his way back from the torn ACL he sustained last December, doesn't appear to be in consideration to play this Sunday against the Patriots if he resumes practicing this week. Instead, the Packers are targeting their Nov. 25 game against the Rams in Week 12 for Parsons' debut, per Ian Rapoport of ESPN. The star edge rusher is initially expected to be limited to individual work once the Packers open his 21-day window before potentially advancing to team drills in Week 10.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
11.85	2.3	-415.22

Jeanty, Ashton

The big story here is the fact Mike Washington had 25 carries and Jeanty had just two. After watching Jeanty post mediocre to sub-par results for a year and a half, the Raiders seem to have had enough. Washington was ineffective on the day but the dynasty value of Jeanty is going to crater now that he's in a timeshare or worse. At this point, Jeanty is looking like a Trent Richardson-like bust in the NFL.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
16.14	7.3	-121.1

Lloyd, MarShawn

In his second game of the season, Josh Jacobs logged a total of 27 touches, leaving precious little work for any other back. Lloyd slightly outpaced Pierre Strong by two carries, but he still logged a season low in rush attempts. With Jacobs looking fully capable of handling a workhorse role moving forward, Lloyd may be destined for similar volume to Thursday's on most weeks as long as his star teammate is available.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
9.93	1.6	-520.63

HENRY, DERRICK

It was a nightmare of an afternoon for the Ravens offense, which lost both Lamar Jackson (thumb) and Tyler Huntley (toe) during the first half and struggled to move the ball with emergency quarterback Joe Fagnano at the helm. Henry's rushing opportunities ultimately suffered as Baltimore's deficit grew, but he managed to punch in a two-yard touchdown run late in the first quarter before matters got out of hand. It's been a relatively rough three-game stretch for Henry following a 102-yard effort on the ground against the Falcons in Week 5, and with reports emerging Jackson will be placed on injured reserve, the talented back's best hope for reasonable game scripts for the foreseeable future lies in Huntley's ability to regain health.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
18.6	12	-55

Wright, Jaylen

Wright exited Sunday's 28-25 win over the Jets late in the fourth quarter on account of the quad issue, but his availability for this weekend's game against the Patriots doesn't look to be in any peril. Since returning to action Week 4 against the Vikings following a one-game absence, Wright has been a clear second fiddle to Ollie Gordon out of the Miami backfield. In his last three appearances, Wright hasn't recorded any receptions and has logged no more than six carries in any contest.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
6.57	0.5	-1214

Brown, Chase

Brown led the Bengals in rushing with an efficient performance, and he finished with his best yardage total on the ground since Week 3. Brown's very busy day as a receiver was second only to his 11-catch, 71-yard effort against the Jaguars in Week 4, and his lost fumble, his second of the season, came early in the fourth quarter and led to a Titans touchdown. Brown is in line to fill his usual voluminous dual role in a Week 9 international matchup against the Falcons in Madrid next Sunday.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
17.02	11.1	-53.33

Hampton, Omarion

Hampton logged just one more carry than Kimani Vidal and five more than Keaton Mitchell, as the Chargers' ground game continued to resemble a committee scenario. Hampton now has 45 rushing yards or fewer in four straight games, and he's logged single-digit carries in three of those contests. The second-year back is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry behind an injury-hampered offensive line as well, leaving his outlook bleak for a Week 9 home matchup against an aggressive Texans defense next Sunday.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
8.27	2.7	-206.3

Washington, Parker

The Jaguars just destroyed Indianapolis in just about every way, so Washington wasn't needed. Still, the two targets were a season low as Trevor Lawrence only needed to attempt 14 passes on the day. This is likely just a blip on the radar but Washington's grip on WR1 status has been shaken after back-to-back sub-par weeks.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
15.74	2.6	-505.38

London, Drake

Michael Penix was picked off four times by the Buccaneers' defense throughout the rainy afternoon while completing only 33.3 percent of his passes, so London's near career-worst numbers were a bit more understandable in that context. The talented wideout had come into the day with at least 62 receiving yards in five straight contests, and he should have a chance to bounce back when the Falcons face off with the Bengals in Madrid next Sunday.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
13.08	2.8	-367.14

Lamb, CeeDee

QB Dak Prescott and the Cowboys' passing game couldn't get much going against Arizona's defense throughout Week 8, and Lamb thus put together one of his least productive outings of the campaign. Despite the very modest performance for his standard, Lamb still has a standout 60-709-6 line on 92 targets through the first eight contests, setting himself up nicely for his sixth consecutive 1,000-yard campaign. He next takes aim at the stumbling Colts next Sunday on the road.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
14.1	5.8	-143.1

Wilson, Garrett

Wilson saw his second-highest target total of the season Sunday after being targeted a season-low three times in the Week 7 loss to Miami. After being outplayed by Omar Cooper in each of the previous two games, Wilson took a back seat to Adonai Mitchell in this one, as Mitchell caught seven of nine targets for 142 yards and a touchdown while Cooper went without a target. The Jets have three capable wide receivers for the first time in a while, but Wilson easily leads the team with 527 receiving yards heading into a Week 9 road game against the Chiefs, while Mitchell's a distant second with 265 receiving yards.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
16.4	8.3	-97.59

Pickens, George

Pickens' inconsistency from week to week in 2026 continued in Week 8, as he matched his season low in receptions and ended up with his third-fewest receiving yards in a contest through the first eight games. Granted, his activity level was limited Wednesday through Friday due to shoulder and hamstring injuries, so he was operating at less than 100 percent health-wise Sunday. In any case, Pickens will strive for better results next Sunday on the road against the Colts.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
11.84	4.8	-146.67

Metcalf, DK

Metcalf had yet another drop and that one turned into an interception in the game. One of the streakiest players in fantasy leagues, Metcalf has become a boom or bust option each week. With just one 100-yard performance this year, his ADP and ranking continue to slide.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
7.95	1.4	-467.86

St. Brown, Amon-Ra

The star wideout suffered an injury scare in the first quarter on a play where an apparent 24-yard touchdown catch was overturned on replay, but St. Brown was able to return before long and finish the game. However, the suffocating Vikings defense, which St. Brown had enjoyed success against in the past, did a good job limiting him after the catch, even though he did finish with team-high reception and target totals. St. Brown now has failed to record a TD grab in four straight games, but he has at least seven receptions in each of those contests heading into a Week 9 road matchup against the Dolphins.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
10.86	5.6	-93.93

Coleman, Keon

Coleman led the Bills in receiving yards on the afternoon with the help of a 21-yard grab and a 12-yard touchdown reception with just over six minutes remaining in the third quarter. The score was Coleman's third of the season, with the previous two having come in each of the prior pair of contests against the Patriots and Rams. The oft-maligned 2024 second-round pick appears to be picking up some momentum in his third season, as Coleman already has a 19-283-3 line on 24 targets while helping make up for the multiple absences of DJ Moore (shoulder).

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
5.45	0.4	-1262.5

Meyers, Jakobi

Meyers logged a pair of limited practices this week before sitting out Friday's session entirely, but as reports Sunday morning indicated, he'll ultimately be available to take the field. Following Jacksonville's Week 7 bye, Meyers will look to find the end zone for the first time since Week 3 against a middle-of-the-pack Colts defense allowing 215.9 passing yards per game.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
7.3	2.4	-204.17

Worthy, Xavier

Worthy put together another disappointing performance, reeling in three passes while failing to exceed 15 receiving yards for the second straight game. The wide receiver operated in a more prominent role for a couple weeks with Rashee Rice sidelined with a hamstring injury, but Rice returned to action Sunday and caught seven of eight targets for 53 yards. Worthy will continue to be an unappealing fantasy option ahead of the team's Week 9 matchup with the Jets.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
6.2	1.3	-376.92

GOEDERT, DALLAS

Goedert has 15 catches for 139 receiving yards in three games since Tanner McKee took over as Philadelphia's starting QB, but the veteran TE has now gone five consecutive appearances without a TD after scoring 13 times in the span of 15 regular-season appearances through Week 1 of this season. Goedert had a ball bounce off his hands for an interception in the second half, but the play was negated by a defensive penalty, removing what would have been the lone blemish on Goedert's otherwise clean, though unimpressive, stat sheet. He'll try to snap his touchdown drought in Week 9 against the Giants.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
12.78	3.2	-299.37

HENRY, HUNTER

Henry exited in the first half of this Week 8 matchup and eventually was ruled out midway through the fourth quarter. He ended with three catches (on three targets) for 30 yards. Eli Raridon will act as the Patriots' top pass-catching tight end for as long as Henry is sidelined.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
12.4	3	-313.33

Pitts Sr., Kyle

Pitts was unable to make it four straight weeks with a touchdown, and he was held to two or fewer catches for the first time since Week 3 versus Green Bay. The tight end has exceeded 50 receiving yards just one time over eight contests to open the 2026 campaign, so fantasy managers are pretty reliant on him reaching the end zone. Pitts and the rest of the Falcons' offense will have a good chance to get back on track in Week 9 against the Bengals' inconsistent defense.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
7.66	0.6	-1176.67

Warren, Tyler

In his return from a two-game absence due to a groin injury, Warren tied for the team lead in receptions and set the pace in targets on another forgettable afternoon for the Colts, as Indianapolis dropped to 2-6 on the season and Daniel Jones was benched late. With rumors swirling that both Josh Downs and Jonathan Taylor could be traded by the Nov. 10 deadline, Warren could be the biggest skill-position weapon the Colts have during the second half of the season alongside Alec Pierce (IR, heel). Warren's catch and yardage totals Sunday were both his second lowest of the season, and it remains to be seen if he'll be catching passes from either Jones or Anthony Richardson in a Week 9 home matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
8.78	1.8	-387.78

ANDREWS, MARK

Though Lamar Jackson (ankle) made his long-awaited return to the lineup, his stay lasted just one offensive snap Sunday before he suffered a serious thumb injury. Tyler Huntley then exited the game with a toe injury in the second quarter, forcing undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano into emergency QB duties. No Ravens player produced even 25 receiving yards against Buffalo. Andrews has been in an extended slump and won't be a trustworthy fantasy tight end for Thursday night against the Jaguars.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
5.57	1.4	-297.86

WALLER, DARREN

Waller could not get on the practice field in any capacity throughout Week 18 prep, and he'll now move to IR in advance of Sunday's season finale against the Patriots. The veteran tight end thus wraps his comeback campaign, having come out of retirement to play for the Dolphins in 2025, with 24 catches for 283 yards and six touchdowns (on 34 targets) across nine regular-season appearances. While Waller's overall production doesn't jump off the page, when healthy he showcased playmaking ability and a capacity to thrive in the red zone that should appeal to multiple offenses across the league. That said, Waller played out 2025 on a one-year, $2 million deal with Miami and now is set to hit free agency, and it remains to be seen whether the 33-year-old tight end will even decide to return for another NFL season. Greg Dulcich will operate as the top pass-catching tight end for rookie quarterback Quinn Ewers in Week 18 with Waller unavailable.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
4	1.1	-263.64

Knox, Dawson

He again played about as many snaps at tight end Sunday (47) as did starter Dalton Kincaid (49), but Knox continued to function mostly as a blocker. He has yet to draw more than three targets in a game this season, and he'll probably remain on the periphery of the passing offense as long as Kincaid is still available.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
3.22	0.6	-436.67

Sadiq, Kenyon

No information yet as to if Huntley will need surgery but this certainly sounds like a multi-week absence. With Lamar Jackson possibly out for the season, this is an absolute nightmare for the Ravens. Joe Fagnano will be the de facto starter on a short week and expect Baltimore to bring in at least one and maybe two other quarterbacks this week. As for Huntley, he's likely going to get more starts late in the year but his dynasty value really isn't much.

HOOPER, AUSTIN

Hooper played 29 offensive snaps and four special-teams snaps in Sunday's contest. The No. 3 tight end was utilized as a blocker and pass catcher but was outshone by No. 4 option Nick Muse, who caught a key touchdown as the team took down the undefeated 49ers.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
2.33	0.9	-158.89

Reichard, Will

Reichard was unable to remain perfect Sunday, but he did deliver at least three field goals for the fifth straight game. The kicker converted kicks from 28 and 47 yards in the first half before later adding a 52-yard make with 1:39 left in regulation, giving Minnesota a 16-10 lead. Reichard's first miss of the season came in the fourth quarter when Grover Stewart got a paw on the kicker's 59-yard try. Reichard is out to a remarkable start to the season, going 18-for-19 on field-goal tries, including six makes from 50-plus yards, over six contests so far.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff

FOLK, NICK

Folk was able to match his season high in field-goal makes, converting attempts from 39 and 33 yards in the first half before adding a 31-yarder to put the team up 29-20 with 1:56 left in regulation. The 41-year-old continues to be an effective short-range option for Atlanta, going 11-for-12 on field-goal attempts from less than 50 yards over seven contests this season.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
7.64	-1	864

McPherson, Evan

McPherson and the rest of the Bengals were blanked before halftime, but the kicker was able to finish off five touchdown drives in the second half. McPherson has now attempted one or zero field goals in three straight games after opening the season with multiple field-goal makes in each of the team's first three contests.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff

Smack, Trey

Since stepping into the starting role Week 6 in place of Jalen Hurts (calf), McKee has led the Eagles to an 0-3 record while completing 72 of 114 pass attempts (63.2 percent) for 638 yards (5.6 YPA), two touchdowns and two interceptions while adding 26 yards on six carries. Despite McKee's mediocre returns, the Eagles will stick with him as their starter for Sunday's matchup with the Giants, but another poor showing could prompt Sirianni to re-evaluate the quarterback situation following a Week 10 bye.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff

Little, Cam

Little made a 60-yard field goal with 1:55 left in the fourth quarter to tie the game 31-31. The Jaguars' kicker continues to deliver in big moments for the team whenever called upon. Little moves to 10-for-12 on field-goal attempts and 16-for-17 on PATs through six games in 2026.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
12.02	6	-100.33

Shrader, Spencer

Shrader entered Week 7 without having missed a field-goal try over the team's first six contests, but he was unable to remain perfect. The kicker was able to make a 43-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, giving Indianapolis a 10-6 lead at the break. Shrader then missed a 56-yard try wide left in the third quarter before pushing a 48-yard attempt wide right in the fourth quarter. He has now gone 19-for-21 on field-goal tries while making 13 of 14 extra-point attempts over seven contests this season.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
6.63	1	-563

Loop, Tyler

Loop made an extra point in the first quarter and field goals from 34 and 24 yards in the second quarter before he and the rest of the Ravens went scoreless in the second half. The kicker has now gone 12-for-15 on field-goal tries while converting all 17 of his PATs over the first seven contests during the 2026 campaign.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
7.79	3	-159.67

ELLIOTT, JAKE

Elliott hasn't missed a kick all season, but he remains stuck on five field-goal attempts for the campaign, as the Eagles aren't moving the ball consistently but have found ways to punch in touchdowns when they get in scoring range. With Philadelphia banged up on offense and in the midst of a five-game losing streak, Elliott is facing some headwinds heading into a favorable Week 8 matchup on paper against the Commanders, who are giving up 28.7 points per game.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
7.81	4	-95.25

Bates, Jake

Bates was able to convert multiple field-goal attempts for just the second time this season. The kicker split the uprights on a 40-yard try in the second quarter before he sent Green Bay packing with a game-winning 22-yard chip shot as time expired in regulation. Bates has yet to miss a kick this season, going 10-for-10 on field-goal tries, including a 54-yard make in Week 4 against the Panthers, while nailing all 22 of his extra-point attempts over six contests.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
9.4	6	-56.67

Borregales, Andy

Borregales was limited to extra-point tries until the Patriots' final drive of the game, when the kicker nailed a 47-yard field goal with less than a minute remaining to bring his team to within six points ahead of an unsuccessful onside kick. The second-year pro has been held to just four FG attempts -- all of which he has made -- over his past four contests after going 5-for-7 across New England's first three games of the season. The lower volume is largely due to the Patriots' improvement on offense over that four-game stretch, as Borregales has gone 14-for-15 on point-after attempts during that span.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff
8.06	6	-34.33

Verse, Jared

Verse opened Week 8 prep with a DNP due to a knee injury, but his full practice Friday was enough for him to avoid an injury tag for Sunday's AFC North showdown. The third-year pro has 17 tackles (10 solo) through seven regular-season games and has yet to record a sack in his first year with the Browns after accumulating 12.0 sacks over his first two NFL seasons with the Rams.

Week 8 Output
Proj Points	Actual Points	Point Diff

Hutchinson, Aidan

Hutchinson sacked Josh Allen on the third play of the game, forcing a fumble that right tackle Spencer Brown recovered. The Lions' top pass rusher almost notched another on the Bills' quarterback, but Allen was able to fend off the 6-foot-7, 268-pounder long enough to send the ball out of bounds. Hutchinson had a very top-heavy night, mostly fending off plays designed to get away from the defensive end as the Bills tried to run out the clock for the majority of the second half.

Davis sustained an ankle injury in the team's Week 6 loss to the Panthers, but he now appears to be good to go ahead of Week 7. The defensive tackle will have two more practices to ensure that he's 100 percent for Monday night's matchup with the Cowboys.

Allen, Zach

Allen injured his hamstring in Week 7 against the Cardinals, but he's been given the green light to play Sunday after having his reps limited during Week 8 prep. He has 24 tackles (10 solo), including 4.5 sacks, two pass defenses and one forced fumble through seven regular-season games.

BUTLER, ADAM

Butler was unable to practice all week due to a biceps injury, and as a result he will be sidelined for Sunday's regular-season finale. He'll finish the 2025 regular season with 50 tackles (20 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one fumble recovery across 15 games. In Butler's absence, head coach Pete Carroll relayed to reporters Friday that JJ Pegues and Tonka Hemingway will be the "feature players" against Kansas City.

ALLEN, JONATHAN

The defensive tackle popped up on the injury report Wednesday with a knee issue, but it does not appear to be serious. Allen should be able to continue playing a starting role for the Bengals on the defensive line this Sunday against the Steelers. The veteran has six tackles (five solo), including 2.0 sacks, through two games.

ROBINSON, A'SHAWN

In the second season of a three-year, $22.5 million contract, the 30-year-old from Alabama remained one of Carolina's top interior defensive linemen, starting 16 of the 17 regular-season games in which he appeared. However, Robinson saw declines in several statistical categories compared to 2024, finishing with fewer total tackles (80 to 65), sacks (5.5 to 3.5) and forced fumbles (one to zero). Those dips are partially attributable to the return of Derrick Brown, and the additions of Bobby Brown (concussion) and Tershawn Wharton (hamstring) in free agency, as Robinson played 58 fewer snaps this season. He's expected to remain a crucial part of the Panthers' defensive line following the team's 2025 playoff run.

Brown, Derrick

Brown was limited by a knee injury during training camp, but the 2020 first-rounder practiced Wednesday without limitations and should be available for Week 1 against the Bears on Sunday. The Auburn product put together a solid statline last year, finishing with 73 tackles (33 solo), including a career-high 5.0 sacks, seven pass defenses and one forced fumble across 17 regular-season games.

HILL, B.J.

Hill missed three consecutive games with an Achilles injury he suffered in the Bengals' Week 1 win over the Buccaneers. Wednesday's full session is the first the defensive tackle has logged since sustaining the injury, meaning there is a strong chance Hill will be able to suit up for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Harrison, Zach

Harrison first hurt his knee in mid-October. He missed two games before returning to action in Week 10 against Indianapolis. However, Harrison sat again during Week 11 and had already been deemed out for this Sunday before being moved to IR. Atlanta coach Raheem Morris said Saturday that Harrison had a setback with his knee and will need to get the issue "fixed," which may mean the third-year pro is going to need surgery.

Detroit won't share any further information on Campbell's status while evaluations remain ongoing, but head coach Dan Campbell said he met with the linebacker and his family at the hospital following Sunday's 19-15 win over the Vikings and noted that everyone was in good spirits, per Colton Pouncy of The Athletic. After finishing off a tackle of Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson in the fourth quarter, Campbell remained face down on the turf for several minutes before he was strapped to a spinal board and carted off the field.

Dodson, Tyrel

Dodson was signed to the Panthers' active roster this past Monday after originally inking a deal to the team's practice squad Sept. 1. He will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's NFC South showdown, and his next chance to play is Week 3 against the Browns on Sept. 27. Claudin Cherelus, Isaiah Simmons and Jackson Kuwatch will provide depth at inside linebacker behind starters Devin Lloyd and Bobby Okereke.

Wallace, Trevin

Wallace underwent season-ending shoulder surgery earlier in the week, so it's no surprise that he's been placed on IR. The second-year pro from Kentucky was one of Carolina's most impactful defenders this season, recording 61 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, and four passes defensed over 12 appearances. With Wallace sidelined for the remainder of the Panthers' 2025 campaign, expect Claudin Cherelus to start alongside Christian Rozeboom in the team's inside linebacker corps.

Barnes, Derrick

Barnes tied with D.J. Reed for the second-most tackles on Detroit behind Christian Izien (11). Barnes has been consistent to begin the campaign, recording between six and eight stops in each of his three games so far. He also has 2.0 sacks on the campaign, halfway to his career-high total over 17 regular-season contests last year.

Young, Byron

The Rams were not able to come up with the football after Young burned rookie right tackle Markel Bell around the edge and swiped the ball out of quarterback Jalen Hurts' right hand, but Young's performance in Week 4 was plenty productive nonetheless, and his sack total was a career high. Moving forward, he might be worth a look in IDP formats that award extra points for sacks.

Simon, Cody

Aided by a game script that saw the pass-happy Bengals run the ball 35 times, Simon achieved a new best tackle total for his young career in Week 17. Since he's now operating as the Cardinals' top option at linebacker, he's solidly within the bounds of the IDP discussion going into a Week 18 matchup against the Rams.

DAVIS, DEMARIO

Davis' tackle tally was his lowest of the campaign, but he did record his first effort of multiple defensed passes. Davis-Gaither's tackle total was good for second on Indianapolis behind A.J. Haulcy. Davis-Gaither has established a very reliable fantasy floor with at least seven stops in all seven of his appearances so far this season. He ranks 12th in the league with 60 tackles on the campaign.

Elliott will suit up for his first game action since Oct. 26, 2025, when he sustained a knee injury that kept him out for the remainder of that season as well as the first six games of the 2026 campaign. The 29-year-old was a full participant in practice this week, and after being activated from injured reserve Saturday, he'll likely be ready to handle a full load of snaps against New Orleans. Expect Elliott to unseat rookie Robert Spears-Jennings as one of Pittsburgh's starting safeties.

Smith finished second on Tampa Bay on tackles, but his contributions extended well beyond that. The pickoff was Smith's first of the season, giving him at least one interception in each of his first three NFL campaigns.

Cisco is expected to miss the remainder of the Jets' 2025 campaign after tearing his pectoral muscle in the Week 8 win of the Bengals. Expect Tony Adams and Dean Clark to operate as the Jets' top free safeties for the rest of the season.

Sunday was the first time since Week 17 of the 2025 season that McKinney posted double-digit tackles, and he finished second on the Packers in that category behind Isaiah McDuffie (11). McKinney has played every single defensive snap in six of seven regular-season games and is up to 31 tackles (18 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and three interceptions on the year.

Terrell's practice reps Thursday were limited due to a groin injury that caused him to miss four games on injured reserve before returning for Week 7 against the 49ers. He was a full participant in Friday's practice, which was enough for him to avoid an injury tag for Sunday's contest. The Jets have plenty of holes to fill heading into 2026, but they seem to have found a starting safety in Moore.
